We had two named storms this month. Storm Antoni came through on the 5th and storm Betty on the night of the 18th and into the 19th. We also had heavy rain on the 14th, much worse than either named storm. It also rained every weekend this month.

The maximum recorded temp was 26.9 degrees at 1:00pm on the 10th.The minimum was 10.5 degrees at 11:20pm on the 8th.

The maximum recorded sustained wind speed was 15mph.There was a gust of 31mph on the 18th as Betty passed through.

Total rainfall of 7.5". There were only 7 dry days. This was the 2nd wettest August I have recorded. Only beaten by the exceptional 10.74" in 2020. The 1.98" we had on the 14th was the 3rd wettest August day. Again beaten by the 3.84" recorded in 2020.
