July started quite wet with an inch of rain in the first week. There was a warming trend peaking on the 12th. Some parts of the country had outbreaks of wildfires. The 15th was exceptionally wet and quite windy but was unnamed. Some parts of the country experienced flooding when heavy downpours gave a months worth of rain in a few hours.

![]() The maximum recorded temp was 29.5 degrees at 3:40pm on the 12th. The minimum was 7.7 degrees at 2:20am on the 2nd. Cardiff recorded 33 degrees on the 12th resulting in train cancellations due to damaged lines.

![]() The maximum recorded sustained wind speed was 14mph but here was a gust of 29mph on the 4th at 7:30pm. Aberdaron recorded a gust of 62mph on the 15th.

![]() Total rainfall of 5.11". The 15th was exceptionally wet when it rained for over 12hrs. The Met Office issued two amber weather alerts for heavy rain affecting many parts of the country. There were 14 dry days.
