There were no named storms this month.The pressure built steadily all month and, according to the Met office, reached the highest it has been for 100 years.

A record high pressure of 1047.20mb this month.


The maximum recorded temp was 17.7 degrees at 12:50pm on the 25th. Rhyl recorded 19.4 on the 24th and was the hottest place in the country a day after lockdown started. The minimum was -0.3 degrees just after midnight on the 6th.


I had a problem with the anemometer this month resulting in the loss of a weeks worth of data. The maximum recorded sustained wind speed was 27mph.There was a gust of 51mph on the 7th.


Total rainfall of 5.43" this month. It rained for 15 days on the trot, from the 5th to the 19th. We then had 12 dry days. There were 14 dry days overall.
