According to the Met Office this was the wettest May on record. A bit of a change from last year, which was our driest. There was widespread flooding on the 20th & 21st. We had a little snow on the 6th.

The maximum recorded temp was 22.8 degrees at 1:30pm on the 30th. The minimum was 0.2 degrees at 5:50am on the 6th, with a little snow. This is the coldest May night I have recorded.

The maximum recorded sustained wind speed was 23.0mph.There was a gust of 37.0mph on the 20th. Capel Curig recorded a gust of 71mph on the 21st.

Total rainfall of 9.01". This was the wettest May since I began recording data. Easily beating my last record of 5.86" in May 2007. There were 8 dry days.
