November was a month of two halves. The first half of the month was dominated by high pressure, making it dull, dry and mild for November. That was followed by low pressure bringing cold, wet weather. We had one named storm. Storm Bert came through on the 23rd. Fortunatly we were on the northerly edge of it. Before it arrived we had snow on the 19th and hail on the 20th and 21st. Over 36,000 homes were without power but we came through unscathed.
